Yes, there are positions available for no Defence members to join.
Send an email to fly@albatrossaeroclub.com.au and you will be put in touch with one of our friendly instructors.
Some people make their first solo (under instructor supervision) in as little as 10 hours. A full Recreational Pilots Licence requires a minimum of 25 hours and successfully passing a flight test.
Our instructors can provide training in the complete RPL and PPL syllabus. We also offer design feature endorsements; MPPC, RU, TWU and can conduct your BFR and IPC.
The club generally operates on weekends between 8am – 4pm to avoid military operations. Some flights may operate during weekdays with prior arrangement and deconfliction.
